Washington is our home turf. We have produced some of the District's defining moments, from the Broccoli City Festival to DC Startup & Tech Week, across downtown venues, festival grounds, and broadcast stages.

DC runs on events. Thousands of national associations are headquartered here. Federal agencies, defense contractors, and a growing tech corridor all compete for the same stages, the same venues, and the same audiences. Standing out takes more than logistics. It takes production that understands what this market responds to.

We handle every aspect of event production: planning and management, technical production, show and on-site execution, and event creative. One partner, one team, from first walkthrough to final load-out. Whether you need full production or a specific capability slotted into your existing team, we build the approach around your goals.

Local Knowledge

The market, from people who work it

The Walter E. Washington Convention Center anchors downtown, and we know how to work it: union labor rules, in-house AV coordination, load-in logistics. Beyond the convention center, DC rewards producers who know the terrain. The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center for summits with presence. The National Building Museum for receptions with scale. The Anthem at The Wharf for general sessions with energy. Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor for multi-day conferences that need everything under one roof.

The Square is a strategic partner venue in the Golden Triangle, and one we produce in often. Its glass-canopied Atrium scales from receptions to galas of up to 800, its Conference Center handles board meetings and summits, and its chef-driven culinary collective handles the catering in house, steps from the White House and the Metro.

Permitting is its own discipline here. Street closures, amplified sound, events near federal property: each has its own process and its own timeline. We manage it as part of production, not as a surprise.

Why Simple

Most production companies show up with gear. We show up with context. Our team knows DC's venues, permitting offices, and production community because we work here every week.

And because events, video, and marketing live under one roof at Simple, your event branding, stage content, sizzle reel, and social cuts come from the same team with the same understanding of your goals. No handoffs, no translation loss.

We deliver what we say we will. We treat your budget, timeline, brand, and reputation with care. As we get to know your organization, we become the partner you call first.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should we book event production in DC?

For large conferences at the convention center, six to twelve months gives you the best venue and vendor options. That said, we regularly produce events on tighter timelines. Tell us your date and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Do you handle permitting for DC events?

Yes. Special event permits, street closures, amplified sound permits, and coordination around federal property are part of how we produce here. We build permitting into the timeline from day one.

Can you work at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center?

Yes. We are experienced with the building's union labor requirements, in-house AV policies, and load-in procedures, and we coordinate directly with the venue team.

Do you provide event production and video content together?

That is our standard model. The same team producing your event captures it: sizzle reels, session recordings, social cuts, and recap films, all with the same understanding of your message.

What size events do you produce?

From 50-person executive summits to multi-day conferences and 30,000-attendee festivals. The production plan scales to the event, not the other way around.

Are you only available in Washington, DC?

DC is home, but we produce events nationally. If your program runs in multiple cities, one team can carry it across all of them.
